Catalyst Support:

Mental Health and drug and alcohol support service that services Surrey. Based in Guildford but run groups online and in person.

Depend:

An organisation offering free, confidential and non-judgemental advice, information and support to all family members, spouses, partners and friends of transsexual people in the UK.

FFLAG – Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays:

Dedicated to supporting parents and their lesbian, gay and bisexual daughters and sons.

Gay and Lesbian Humanist Association (GALHA):

GALHA is affiliated to the International Humanist and Ethical Union and the International Lesbian and Gay Association. GALHA is also affiliated to Amnesty International, whose UK section has its own active Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Network.

Gay Outdoor Club:

The Surrey group generally walk on the 4th Sunday of each month and provides a wide range of outdoor and indoor sports and recreational activities for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender men and women.

GMFA (The gay men’s health charity):

Role is to provide gay men with accurate and credible information, and with the skills that enable them to make informed choices and exercise control over their own actions.

Switchboard:

Aims to provide an information, support and referral service for lesbians, gay men and bisexual people from all backgrounds throughout the United Kingdom.

Pink Therapy:

The UK’s largest independent therapy organisation working with gender and sexual minority clients. They aim to promote high quality therapy and training services for people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender and others who identify as being gender or sexual minorities.

Proud 2 Serve:

A resource and network for the gay and straight military community in His Majesty’s Armed Forces.

Queer Youth Network:

A national non-profit making organisation that is run by and for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered (LGBT) Young People and is based in Scotland.

Reading Pride:

The charity organises the annual Reading Pride Festival in King’s Meadow Park, Reading and supports LGBTA communities in the Thames Valley throughout the year.

Solace Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARCs):

Provides local communities with a safe, discreet and caring environment to support victims of rape and sexual assault.

Stonewall:

National LGBT organisation, founded in 1989.

Pride in Surrey:

 A non-profit community interest company with a mission to, celebrate, educate and connect the LGBTQ+ community and allies across Surrey and the surrounding counties.

The Rape And Sexual Abuse Support Centre (RASASC):

A voluntary UK charitable organisation providing a range of confidential face to face counselling and telephone helpline services to anyone (male or female) whose life has been affected by sexual abuse or rape, whether recently or in the past, in Surrey and beyond.

THT Woking Branch:

Terrence Higgins Trust HIV support charity.

Twister:

Twister offers a safe space for LGBTQ young people to meet and socialise and provide information and guidance when needed. There are currently four Twister youth clubs; one in Guildford, one in Sunbury, one in South East Surrey and the last one in Woking.
