Outline is a registered Charity in England & Wales 1080970 and providing services to people who identify as LGBTQIA+. Outline provides support to people with their sexuality and gender identity, including but not limited to the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and trans community of surrey, primarily through a helpline, website and support groups.

How we collect your information

We collect your information when you contact us, attend an event for which pre booking is required, or contact us through an outreach event. We also collect information about you volunteer for Outline or otherwise work in connection with us. This is data provided by you. We do not collect data about you from any third party.

We minimize data collection and implement the following retention practices: volunteer notes are retained for a shift, phone call recordings for 7 weeks, electronic contact for 7 weeks, and text messages for 6 months. This policy complies with relevant data protection regulations.

We do not sell your data, but we may share it with relevant parties for legal compliance, safeguarding, donations, and to third-party service providers like Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, TextMagic, and ClarifyGo for essential services.
